Well all VW dealers are offering free rego on roads and dealer delivery on current GTI's until end of September so can only assume that the launch will be Late October/November...

Was contacted by my lease company today inviting me in on a deal to pre-order my place on a preferred delivery list of GTIs and i'd get a special edition key ring, jacket and cap. key rings and caps are cheap and easy, but let me say the jacket looks like a $500 snow jacket at least, looks the goods!

Think the MkVI GTI will come out as a 5 door only first up, just like the MkV...

All the pics of them in Aus so far only show a 5dr version

OK, spotted a silver 3dr MkVI GTI on Victoria Road heading away from the city today! (Had to do a double take, to make sure)

I saw this same car today to in Surry Hills, they look really nice in the flesh...
