as for a GTi without Corp Disc. i think it is ok, maybe just because he is your uncle's friend, so you did not bargain too much and accept the deal straight away??

haha yeh i get an email when someone replies...i'm fairly quick.
Umm na we negotiated a fair bit...but we didnt see the deal going any lower than what they were giving us and so we just thought hey it's fair enough...and took it.
Best of luck to you with your dealings."I just want to make it that little bit better, and little bit more unique."

Sorry, I wasn't too clear.
11% is a good discount for YOUR car. Corp discount puts you on a good footing immediately. To get the same discount without corp discount you'd need to haggle like a mf and have a desperate/cooperative dealer. If you were looking at a $60k GTI and then haggled without a corp discount, it'd be much easier to get 11% than haggling on a $50k GTI as there is more room to move on a more expensive car etc (plus, any reduction on a car above $57k automatically reduces another 33% of that reduction due to the LCT)

i been watch this fourm for few days, i read the spread sheet of golf's final price collection, it is helpful, gave me some hints, however, how do i know if i have a corp. discount?
my target is shifting to GTi... as my GF thinks it is cool for young ppl, Jetta not stylish enough, whatever, both for me is fine.
I am doing my homework by doing some research now, and try to get 15% off as start point, my target is
with
5 Door DSG
Metalic Paint
Sunroof
Park Assist
RNS510
Bi-Xenon light
ACC
MDI
Around 47000 drive away, not sure for this price, i may have a try.
or i may try to get a Jetta for a similar optional fitting, because i think the Jetta highline starts rrp is lower than a GTi.
I highly doubt that you are going to get $47000 drive away with those accessories you are after. If you do, call me and i want to know where you buy it from. my number is 0488777908. name is williamGTI Mk6 5 door/6 spd DSG/Candy White/Bi-Xenon/18" Detroit Wheels/Leather/Boot Trim/Dynaudio/MDI/Electric Seat/WHITELINE SWAY BAR 24" ADJUSTABLE
