Yes, definitely for men (Not sure about potential health effects on women, but they do loooove heated seats)

The boys downstairs don't like heat... too much heat for prolonged periods reduces fertility. Same reason why laptops shouldn't be placed on laps when in use.

Using it once in a while wouldn't hurt though...just don't leave it on for an entire journey!
