also on the bluetooth/mdi question - mine had seperate codes for those - this might be different now as they are standard.

What i am trying to ask here is "if the car that gets delivered is not what i ordered i.e. if it has extra or less options then what i ordered" - do I have an option to walk out of the deal or not?

Yes, 7RJ is the Navigation DVD for the RNS510, but it's only part of the order... There is also another code, specifically "RNS 510" R2Z

If you don't have the 2nd code, then maybe your dealer is just short a few navigation DVDs and is ordering them...

As for the status, "ModPending" may mean that it isn't yet submitted for build. Do you have the "ETA Data" screen? Which entry is the "dot" next to?

The DOT is next to "Current SGW Determination" - what does that mean?

And the arrival at the final destination is "19/10/2011".

This would indicate that the dealer has grabbed a car which they already had in the system and are going to modify the order for your requirements. This may indicate why the status is "ModPending" and there are items for which you have no optioned on the order. To me it sounds as they "someone" still has to approve the modification to the build so that it meets your order. Thus, I'd expect most of the ETA Data to mean nothing, as it may reset once the options have been changed.

As for what "SGW Determination" means. No dealer I have asked is entirely sure. They believe it's a "paperwork" checkpoint, somewhere between the VAG and factory level.

I think you either need to do one of two things:
1) Straight out ask the dealer why there are options in the "Car Configurator" which are not what you've ordered and what "ModPending" means.
2) Just be patient and see how it plays out... and then be prepared to pay extra if the dealer (if it has more than what you ordered and the dealer isn't willing to cover the entire difference) or walk away (if it has less/you don't want to pay extra).

In relation to option 2, whilst we have seen dealers make up the extra in option 2, we've also seen them not. The thing is, you've asked for this NADCON information now, so you can't turn around when the car arrives and then plead ignorance, since you've already already supplied you with details which show things are not what you've ordered. Hence why I say you either need to call it out, or say nothing and see what happens...

My R LED's should arrive this week, its going to make the wait all the more painful lol!

Just realised that port 'Papeete' is in Tahiti - its not on the marine traffic website so it will most likelly be out of range all the way till it reaches Australia's waters!
