How to track the car you have ordered?

Well, I'm not sure about the details. It may be held at the docks in customs, and "Delivered From" signifies it's cleared customs and is ready for compliance? From the docks I assume the car would go to a holding area before distribution to the dealer.

I'm sure one of the more-knowledgeable folk on here could shed light on it.

Not sure more knowledgeable, but my dealer sent me a note confirming my GTI had cleared customs/bond and arrived into Victorian Compound, where a checklist needs to be completed before coming to Adelaide. I assume she means the Patrick Auto compound as it was Patrick Auto who confirmed the details. This all happened on the day my Track & Trace showed "delivered from" that morning.

It is on the TOSCANA. It has currently left the UK and is on its way to South Africa, then Australia. Where is yours at???

Dude, lay off the grumpy pills please. I know that you contribute a lot to this forum by helping people out with your knowledge, but why don't you have a think about your responsibility to treat others on here with some basic courtesy?

vwlovr - you and I have two things in common.

1. CBF'd flicking through 54 pages. I was using the following link which has far less information. Vessel Details

2. Our cars are on the Tijuca.

I was pointing out that there is already a thread about tracking your car at the top of the forum that's pinned in position. That is the correct place to add any new links, if he wanted the link added to the first post he just has to contact a mod. That's the point of the sticky thread so that everyone sees it before posting and the information is in the one place.

You are absolutely correct, it's the way you deliver the message when you come across a post that you don't agree with. If you're not sure where I'm coming from, go back and replace your first post in this thread with the following and see what a difference it makes.
