How to track the car you have ordered?

Just when the ship Toba arrives in Fremantle, the Port Authorities pull their website and do an update - I am unimpressed as I was hoping to get pictures of the boat. It leaves Fremantle at midnight so no good photos then, so I now have to wait until 6th May to see it entering Melbourne and hope I get a good pic then, as my GTI leaves the Toba then and heads overland to Adelaide and eventually to my driveway - with luck sometime in May.

Anyone else with a car on the Toba?

I have my GTI on the TOBA. I was at work yesterday and wanted to see it land at Fremantle. Could not beleive the site went down. I found it at Webcam 8 in the docks though. Glad to see it was there.
Not long to wait now.

Mine's on the Toba too. She hits land in Melbourne and gets transported to Sydney.

Ah! my Golf has finally arrived Freo

I am soooo excited! my golf has finally arrived in Australia, Freo! (please see the link below).
OK, now I have to wait about 2 more weeks for custom and then 1 more week for my dealer to do what they have to do. Anyone in Perth expecting their Golf from the same ship?

Well it looks like the Oberon is no longer trackable, either that or the crew has decided to drop anchar for a spot of fishing. It has not moved in three days.

Back to good old fashioned waiting it seems.

Anyone else on the Oberon?

Please read the thread a bit... it's been mentioned several times in the past few pages. The ships are only trackable when they're within a certain number of km from a shore-based base-station. When they're in the middle of the ocean, they are not trackable.

Thanks.Should be up here in 2 or 3 weeks. I have a few things i need to do before i take delivery. End of May or early June I should have it in the garage.
