Finally, my tracking alive. It is Vessel TOREADOR just left BREMERHAVEN yesterday and it will be land on Brisbane in 29/12/11. According around 15 days clearance from Port site, I won't see it until mid of Jan. But at least I can tracking down right now. My Dub Dub quite enjoyed its world tour and tells me that the staff and crew of TOREADOR looked after him quite well. He enjoyed the tour of the African Safari parks the best when the Captain took him for a drive......explains why I had a mighty 24kms on the clock when I came to welcome him home.

I crawled out of my hole and logged on. Saw the chatter above. Checked with the dealer..."it's on the water"!

Well I said I wasn't going to track my R and just wait for the "Your car is ready call" from my dealer but Mrs Scarlet was on me yesterday about getting the VIN so sent a quick email to the dealer. Hopefully I'll hear back from him today.
I think a drive day is needed early next year when we all have our cars

I have just found out from dealer that my car will be built week 3, which is mid Jan next year. ETA on my contract says end of Feb for delivery.
Is this possible? There seems to be very little time between it being built and the car being available for delivery.
How long does it take for a vessle to sale from Germany to Australia?Comment

XTC838 you are lucky, at least you have a build week for your car. Recently I contacted my dealer and was told that the desired week built for first thing Jan 2012 and ETA circa April 2012 (if all goes well!). On top of ETA add another 3 weeks for delivery... so i think we can get our cars by/around May 2012 delivered.Originally posted by XTC838 View Post

Not sure if my dealer is telling me the truth then. There is a huge difference between Feb and April.
That's an awfully long time to wait! Plus I would have thought if they put down on the contract that ETA is end of Feb, it will be around that time and not 2 months out.Comment
