When you installed the CAI, is it normal for intake to skew a little to the right? I had trouble fitting the CAI in because the plastic piece (on the grille) where the 2 torx screws go, was slightly higher. It wasnt a perfect fit, had to use a tiny bit of force to push it up.

Your best off to call the mobile number on the site so Lucas can point you in the right direction as he can be at a number of locations. He will look after you... tell him Adzy with the clicking GTI sent youOriginally posted by Gene View PostWhere? in Melbourne? On the webbie it doesnt say where.
Make sure that your engine cover is properly installed first as sometimes the grommets (or just one) dont perfectly sit in place which may put the intake off line a bit.Originally posted by Gene View PostWhen you installed the CAI, is it normal for intake to skew a little to the right? Mine fitted up perfect, I did not tighten the screws until it was all in place so that I could make sure it was under no force.
If all is installed right then it may just be a slightly dodgy carbon mold which I doubt as Carbonio have a good rep for quality components.

A little bit of topic but...
Hey I need to repair the stock suspension on my GTi so yeah I need to buy things like the stock sway bar, etc and have them installed. I was quoted the parts from VW and they arent cheap Im wondering if there is some after market mod suspension parts that I can get which arent that much more expensive then the stock partss which I will have to buy and have installed... I dont mind paying more Im just wondering how much more....
I will probably not be taking the car to track so I wondering would I actually feel the difference? I know it did make a huge difference in the impreza I had but I dont know Golfs really at all... (only min stuff)
Any1 recommendations would be great?
If this fails, any1 want to sell their stock GTi parts?

Generally a second hand stock swaybar will probably go for around $100 dollars or there abouts I think?
New aftermarket ones range in price from $250ish through to over $500 depending on brand.

How does it handle with the front sway bar? I know how they improve with just the rear. Do you still have lift off oversteer?Originally posted by BadTigerBreath View PostFalken Azenis tyres, Whitline front & rear 22mm Swaybars on my Pirelli
