Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

        Got some Hella Dynabeams installed.

        also, converted them to HID.
        so i now have Bi-Xenons

        short clip is up now.
        you can hear the shutters move when hi beam is selected.

                thanks maca.

                not sure, but its only temporary till i sort out the mounting back onto the grill. will probably use magnets! got that idea off a sydney memeber of golfmkv who came down for a visit! works bloody well too!

                    LoL BY got a better reception here for the fron then you did over in MkV!

                    How are you going to put on with magnets??? there's no 'attractive' metal on the front????

                      im going to stick magnets behind the grill and the number plate.

                      apextwin on golfmkv just taped his down and it works awesome!! its so simple LOL.

                        window tint

                        I just had Tint A Car apply formular 1 tint to the front windows.
                        A scapegoat is almost as good, as a solution to the problem.

                        Reflex Silver Pirelli . Alpine Head Unit, Sat Nav, Bluetooth and Tinted Windows.

                                Please can you tell me exactly which one you got and what it looks like. I bought some automotive tape and it is crap, the plates keep peeling off!
