If you're performing the simple job of resetting the pin you can either reflash with the same code on every unit or have a number of different epproms with different codes. Supply your printed VW code card and the user is none the wiser.website: www.my-gti.com

No-one is bringing Harding/Volkspower's reputation to question, nor has Guy offered to the OP, this component of his business. However, I find your rallying to Harding/Volkspower's defence a little 'questionable'.
I have no association with either of the companies I mentioned, other than the fact that they did the work for me.MY08 R32, DSG, Sunroof, RNS510

As the units dont come with a owners manual i bought one from the states for $22 delivered , it has 131 pages so i thought i might as well buy one.

Your local VW dealer can order you one for under twenty dollars.

Rule #1 always price things locally firstly - you sometimes get a surprise!

besides 2 trips to the VW dealer would cost more in time and fuel.

Ive just spent half an hour on the phone to the Nepean motor Group/VW The spare parts person could find no listing for the RNS 510 manual and he said that $22 was cheap as most of the user manuals cost in the vicinity of about $60 and seeing there are 131 pages in the manual i can see why .
He asked me to supply a parts number as he cant find one listed ?
