looks good mate.
I like the lack of visible wires. Iv got two sets running (one to 4mo headlights as i didnt have fogs before and the other to my old lower lights like yours) and there is wires going everywhere!
I found i gromet infront of the passengers footwell.
Did you reseal/glue the rain tray back to the window...?
Haha thanks . I installed the relay and fuse into the engine bay box so unless you knew what you were looking for it all looks oem. Oh, I'll have a look i bet ill find that now . No but i'm not sure that its needed, Definitely wasn't before.

i took my rain tray off a few times and i never glued it to the windscreen and never had a problem. Its not glued from the factory so i dont think it needs to be
Spent some more time as always on it on the weekend, ironically trying to fix up what i broke last weekend haha.
Glued back the "welded" in thread that holds the wire box down on the driver's side. It snapped off last weekend when installing the blue wire. Got some rapid fix stuff to "weld" it back into place. Good stuff, first glue that actually does what it says and sets instantly. For some reason i didn't get a picture of it snapped off but oh well.
Bolt glued back,
Box on properly
And as always when fixing one thing on my car something else has to brake (god i love cars but god damn do they absolutely hate me ) Luckily i think my insurance will cover that. Best $25 ever spent
I also remember someone on this forum saying to check behind your wheel in the wheel arch liner. Whoever that was they are right, That is so chocked up with crap its not funny. Had to clean it out to get a metal tab from the side indicators which fell down there.
Quick question as well, does anyone know what this is? Looks like a horn for the alarm system but it doesn't work and i tested the wires coming in and nothing is sent when the doors are locked.

Hope you checked 'em all while you were at it - it's amazing how much junk gets caught in there. On a positive note, you're now saving weight by not carrying all that dirt around!
Not much been done in a while, Mainly due to me going up north to help my dad. But good things are on there way
Got windscreen fixed finally (god i hate dealing with insurance jobs)
Hopefully within the next month or so (up to when money comes through) I should be getting:
* 18x8.5 ET 25 BBS LM Rims (got a set lined up as said just waiting for money and getting them over here from the us )
* KW V2's or airbag suspension
* Miltek Exhaust
Then will be in some more money soonish and therefore that should bring
*TURBO!!!!!
* Sound (Good SQL sub and speakers)
* Other parts such as body work
Aaaanny way back to present time.
Got this on Friday.
And a typical weekend with the dash half apart
Just so i can install a USB port (for the go pro)
And so i can watch it on my head unit.
Also got a Dock i made for the ash tray for my phone. Still a bit to go.
Other iPhone holder for head unit

I like the phone holder too, but it looks like you need a new phone! Did you run it over or something?
Heh thats my old iphone which my brother broke (it 'slid' off his laptop and hit the ground) but it still works so its my music iphone for the headunit
loving the phone and ipod holders!
I used that shelf in the glove box for my ipod, nice and hidden away even if anyone does break in.
Yeah thats where i was originally thinking of putting it but its a bit out of the way when it decided not to work and if people want to put their music on its slightly easier. I did keep the connectors (USB and headphone jack) in the glove box just incase But boy was it a massive pain in the ass to get it into the arm rest

Well it had its birthday yesterday.
Its getting on a bit which is a bit sad. But its getting some hell of a birthday presents. Still waiting on the main stuff. Got some fibreglass stuff for the weekend when i hope to make up the main part of the subbox after being quoted $1200 for one i decided to save myself about $1100 and do it myself
Also finally got the payment sorted for my rims so they should be over soonish

Not much updates, Expecting the rims in the next month and suspension i think this week or so and my ecs order this week. Ordered a jack from a local auto one (aluminium low one) but they have none in stock so waiting on that aswell.
Anyway had a decent day today getting insanely stick and dirty and cramped fiber-glassing the inside of my boot to make a nice sub box. The process is very simple just takes a bit of prep and time and some patients but looks to get a very good result.
Starts with taping off the inside of the boot to use as a mould.
Then covering everything in plastic as the resin gets everywhere
Followed by applying the wax and releasing agent. Then getting everything prepped up and outside
And then finally doing the dirty sticky work
After two layers
and final layer
Now it just has to sit and dry for 24hours before i can remove the mould and all the resin off my skin

So took the box out today and it turned out pretty decent. Few thin spots but that can be fixed with a bit more fiber-glassing. Very strong though. Hopefully the volume will be ok.
Came out with all the sticky tape attached and left alot of **** in the boot.
Also got a package today.
Comes with a timing chain kit, dog-bone mount, fuel filter, jaw pullers, oxygen sensor and some other crap
So another good weekend spent on the car all-though this time was a major pain in the ass.
Started out with a fuel filter swap. Went pretty well apart from the me being lazy part and thus getting fuel into the eye part
And my awesomely safe ramp parking
Then changed over the shifter relay (up and down part) with the pin so i can fit the 42dd bushing on it finally (after ordering the wrong part haha) Easy enough just had the aircon hose line in the way and lost a 4.5mm drill bit down the center console after trying to align the shifter. The new shifter feels really good, its nice to finally have the side to side stiff.
Old and new:
Then had the biggest pain in the ass of the day which involved replacing both the oxygen sensors. After a hell of a lot of cursing crap on the hands and a hole lot of cuts the bastards finally came out and got replaced. The one on the drivers side is the worse as its at a really crap angle and hidden behind a lot of hoses and crap. A "light tap with a small hammer" later and they came undone. Then changed them out and put the new ones fairly easy. That rear one however will not tighten and has about 1 thread sticking up so needed to seal it today with some special gasket stuff.
New Oxygen sensors
Old vrs new
Old crapped out ones:
In doing so i managed to break the plastic tube from the crankcase to the intake
But fixed that up today.
Also replaced the worn cloth hose that was blocked as anything between that pipe and some more vacuum tube.
Always a good day when this is as clean as your hands get
