Finally fitted the R32 exhaust to the Bora today. She's one step closer to an R28.
hows it sound? took me a second to get my head around the R28... bit slow this late at night.
Is it just the photo or do the tips stick out a long way though?
Doesnt seem to loud compared to your engine. Probably best to hear in person?
yeah it's not too loud. its just a cabin drone/resonance that got annoying. you wouldn't hear that from outside i don't think.
can't hear it in person as i've taken it off, i've now got a 2.5" bb downpipe, with 2.25" piping up to the stock muffler.
very quiet now. though it still missfires if i try, like it does in the third clip. but now it is muffled so sounds funny rather than a big pop
After receiving my replacement window holder brackets from Istanbul the other day i found some time to install them , and to my surprise when i went to do the drivers side door (nothing wrong with it but thought i would change them to be on the safe side ) they were already done so have a spare set for the drivers door if anyone wants them......
Also pulled both lock mechanisms apart to check for any dry soldered joints as the car had a few random issues related to doors not unlocking and lights and bells not coming on all the time .
rubbing noise has come back, so guessing raising the car up to put the end links must of just straightened it up.
next will be strut bearings, top mounts and nuts
