      • Installed Yarrowsport rear stress brace this arvo, looks a treat and seems to have stiffened the rear a little more. Pretty impressed.

          • Bought a Yarrowsport Rear Stress Brace - only to read some not-too-good info that they may not fit a Bora. Anyone have any solid intel? Anyone fitted one or seen one fitted?

Some of the things I read included that the car needed to be jacked up (I presume to open up the chassis walls a bit for fitment).

PM me i guess to keep the current thread on topic.

Pansy - your exhaust note was sweet as. Made me feel plenty bad about my dodgy bora.

              • Swapped interior bulbs for LED's, very nice although still undecided if I really like the blue map reading lights.

get white ones, you goose! haha
promised they won't look as cheesy, or like junkie lights for that matter. in addition, reading in white light is a million times better.

Yeah the set I bought on eBay came with all white except the map lights which are blue, kind of strange. Might have to change them, I am not in to the pimped look!!

                    • Added the Phillips VisionPlus headlight jobbies - an easy job thankfully keen to test them out but am now told to have low expectations. we'll see.
Changed the cabin pollen filter - also an easier job than the DIY on vortex suggested.

After trying the Philips BlueVisions and being underwhelmed (better than stock but not great), I switched to the Philips Xtreme's and they are great! Not sure where the VisionPlus sits in the range?

                          • They work great - I had to adjust my lights up a bit to get the extra range.

                            • yep i got the phillips extreme visions. they do the job.
though if i were to need another set, i'd consider osram 65w globes. they're 10w more than the standard H7, so you are running it out of spec and risk things melting, long as you do your research and are aware of the increased risk

LOL! Well I find the Xtreme's great, nothing like HID's of course but still pretty decent.
