chucked in a bottle of Nulon Fuel System cleaner after having the throttle body cleaned, sparks done and still having some issues with first start in mornings. Read about the carbon buildup, etc.
Now she fires straight up...never would have believed it had I not tried it....we'll see how long it lasts.
very pissed off with my car... last 6 months has been like this:
i'd post more about it, but i'd have to mention someone who's a member on here...
honestly have no idea what to do...
Started to give the old girl a wash and then a good vacuum and interior clean (wouldn't call my efforts a detail just yet).
Gave the engine bay a whole can of degreaser and a good rinse. Boy she chucked up some steam after that, but the engine is nice and clean now and funnily the car now smells good as you approach it.
Gave the windows a good going over too. its always good to see out of clear glass. Might try the glazed headlight polish mod tomorrow (where is that sandpaper....?)
When i got to the body i was frustrated to see the previous owner's buffing compound still there. Not only was it in the cracks and crevices between doors and around trim and handles and stuff, but it somehow had turned into little water dots and streaks and everything just in random and open places on panels. Very strange. it can be shifted with decent rubbing with a finger or a bit of waterless wash on a rag. The car just needs a bloody good cut/polish to look the goods again.
No point in photos as i might do the headlights and a cut tomorrow.

3.99 ...and you have yourself a new master window switch
bought it on EBAY.... has resolved the sticky left window! too bad it didn't cure the lock issue as well but for under 20 bucks shipping included from the US you can't really ask for more. Nice to get a bargain after dishing out serious coin for repairs/maintenance recently.
