blown a fuse does anyone know the fuse for the interior lights/remote central locking?
I have been warned that mine blows very easily too. Basically if you turn the interior light on it blows that fuse. It works fine with the door function but if i am inside and turn on the light manually it blows.

Common problem?
Check that none of the contacts are corroded - corrosion increases resistance, which means that more current will flow to maintain the voltage, and increased current blows fuses.
Pierre.. Your car is officially finished on the exterior i reckon. That looks just beautiful, plain and simple. If i had a Mk4 GTI.. That's exactly how i'd want it to look.

So, I've started seriously investigating the Bilstein PSS9 option.
I sent a request to Bilstein via their International website asking if their warranty was international. Bilstein in Australia (aka Sydney Suspension, aka Heasman Steering) got the enquiry, and let me know that they have the right to refuse to do warranty work on stuff they didn't import. That's fair enough. They also gave me a better price this week than I got last week on the PSS9s ($3000 supply, $440 fit - last week it was $3500 supply, $500 fit), I asked about the discrepancy, and was told it's due to having stock available and giving me a good deal. Great.
I also checked with Wholesale suspension at Blacktown (as they're closer, and I was a little concerned with the variability of price). In the meantime, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask Heasman if they could go any tighter on their quote - "No, sorry, that's as low as we can go" would be a perfectly reasonable response. Wholesale Suspension ended up contacting Bilstein Australia, and they figured out they're both quoting the same person. I understand the position Wholesale have taken and they won't underquote Heasman, and that's fair enough too. They told me as such, and I understand the reasoning (not wanting to upset a good relationship between the companies as supplier/customer), and that's all good.
However, I then got the response back from Bilstein Australia. And I quote:
"You have shopped around enough."
I'm sorry, but WTF? There's a limit on how much time/effort I should spend on ensuring I get the best price (particularly when prices have varied by $500 from a single vendor in a week?
My response:
"I assume you're talking about Wholesale suspension also calling you. I hadn't yet had a call back from Wholesale suspension when I sent that email, they've explained things to me nicely, and I agree that the price that you and they have both offered is good, thank you.
I think I have a right to shop around and ensure that I'm getting the best price - if you disagree with me and don't want to have me as a customer, that's your decision."
Not sure what to do now. I'm still pretty set on getting the PSS9s, and the idea of local warranty support (when the purchase price is so much closer now than it was before) is good, but by the same token, I'm really taken aback by the attitude shown by Bilstein Australia, and I'm not sure I wish to reward it by giving them my money (either directly or through Wholesale Suspension)...
I've been using KW V3's in my car since I got it and haven't had any issues and KW have supported me with my rallying with extra spring sets to test and use for free and with setup help direct from the factory in Germany. Give them a ring and see what they can come up with, the KWV3 is just as good as the PSS9. If you are set on Bilstien then why you would need warranty support for shockers is beyoned me unless they are pretty dodgy and I know Bilstien aren't dodgy so why not just get them from OS, you'll find that they are cheaper landed and getting them serviced, revavled etc isn't covered under warranty anyway.
