Put the ABT V1s on finally
seeing far too many HWY patrol issuing defects around my area again so decided to go nice and legal for a bit

Hopefully be super comfy now with the 215/45s rather then the 215/35s iv been rolling on.
Did notice the rear tyres are making a bit of noise due to the poor alignment from whoever last used the tyres. Hoping the excess toe in I have on the rear will smooth them out quick like the last set of second hand, poorly aligned tyres I had

Subframe just touched flat ground on the merc wheels.
Will be 1cm of so on the abt

Did roll pretty low on coils (hitting cats eyes etc in the end) but now its on bags so I drive about 70-100mm off the deck depending what wheels are on

After 6 months its finally all together. Changes:
-resprayed interior pieces so no more peeling crap (cheers to kendog for finding the perfect paint)
-installed bora vents and leather steering
-painted, retrimmed and installed arm rest

I've got to be 100mm off the road and I still scrape stuff on Adelaide's crap roads - I'm sure the next pothole will be the end of my sump

Looking good! I have to ask what paint you ended up going for? Initially I was leaning towards Plastidip, but the paint you've used looks good (there was another guy on uk-mkiv's who use paint and it looked great too).
This interior business is on my to do list as well and I've nearly finished gathering bits and pieces.

I think mk4 owners seem to be more enthusiasts compared to mk5 onward when they got popular with the mum and dad crowd ,
