Who's tuning it? You currently have apr right? Dunno if they offer a tune for the k04-22. What about fueling?

won't be going with apr as they only tune the 001, i'm currently looking at custom code.

          • Obviously first soak it in penetrating spray.
Next get more torque with a breaker bar (use a metal rod to extend the length if necessary).

If that fails then you'll need to forfeit trying to save the bolt and make an incision with a chisel on the bolt and then smashing the chisel at an angle.

If you need to stop the wheels from turning, then put a steel wheel on and jam a breaker bar between one of the holes to jam against the brake caliper. Alternatively, if there are groves on the outside of the disk, then you can put the end of a spanner into them. Both methods have worked on many other cars - not sure on the MKIV's though.

If you destroy the bolt, the shaft should still be ok. Once you smash through the bolt then head to your local bolt shop and buy a new one.

I have neglected this car over the past few years, time to clean it up and revive my build thread.

                      • Well I just noticed Jason is selling some h&r sport springs, very tempted. Don't think I could do cheap coilovers again.

Hub nuts can be a real pita, make sure the car is one the ground with the wheel on and get a massive breaker bar. I needed a 1.5m bar and all my body weight to crack mine
