Bonnet has no cut-out for the big VW badge. Is that something aftermarket?Originally posted by MightyCarModsI'd rather lose by a mile because I built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book.

Thank you manOriginally posted by theOctopus View PostCheck the pipe under the intake manifold as well as the vac lines, I along with many others have blown holes in them.
Ive replaced mine with fuel line to stop it happening again and they allow you to tighten the crap out of them

ill check that out asap, also realized my new boost gauge is out of calibration and sits in about 1.5hg when the car is off. Tried fixing it by carefully knocking the brass circle inside, the pin would bounce up but didnt wanna stay on Zero.
Finally ordered the CPU heatsink too, Seeing Rizzla's thread reminded me of it

Is your boost gauge 'new south' ? I haven't had the best experience with them. My boost gauge reads about 2psi under and my oil pressure gauge just does what ever it feels like. Wish I could find some better quality gauges that match the dash lightsOriginally posted by SLAJ View PostThank you man

Yeah, i had a Defi in there which i loved, but same deal here, got the Newsouth purely for the colour match.Originally posted by Lito View PostIs your boost gauge 'new south' ? I asked newsouth if there is anything i can do to fix it myself or to get a replacement and both options will leave me out of pocket and without a gauge for who knows how long.
