There was that one for sale for about $1500 that had side damage. Didn't the oil pressure sensor make a noise? What's actually damaged?

6 pack of beers on the line here

Preferrably in the inner western suburbs of melb or around there or know where to buy them from in australia.
I made do with a fat head screw driver hex bit that cam from a security set. Seemed to do the trick. As for the wrench i used a spark plug socket that had a hex outside. And then i had to make one with a 3/4 drive socket and grinded the ends down.

yeah i feel kind of stupid about it but the oil sensor did come on every once in a while but it would just go away straight away played it off as just a bad sensor as it was never concistent , although on the night i dont recall it comming up , not shore havent had the proper chance to look as the car isnt even home yet , theres a knock from the bottom end definately im shore of that :/

          • Ordered Audi tt caliper carriers along with dba 4000 rotors. Can't wait to get them on.
On a side note - every time I back out of my driveway I get a rubbing sound (doesn't feel like metal grinding either) from the front right hand side and I can't work out what it could be?!? Anyone come across this? I'm lowered on kw v1, 225x40x18 tyres +25 offset. I also get some rubbage on full lock. I've checked if the tyres hit the inner guard but can't see anywhere it does. Hmm

            • Yeah, I was gonna say it's probably the inner guard.

              • More goodies

                Also shot after waxing

Still deciding on weather or not to do front slimline and back normal size or both slimline for licence plates.

                Sticker collections getting better

Also getting stoked that my cars at the mechs hopefully getting this short rev issue solved. And even more stoked at the cheap prices for parts he offers such as metal impeller water pump for $115

                  • 8" wide. 25" floor to arch (not terribly low really)
Have replaced front swaybar bushes and rear control arm bushes as well.

                    • looks great, real straight and clean.

Well, I couldn't control myself. Was back on the ECS site and ordered a few bits.
OEM diverter valve(Audi TT 225) to replace the dead BOV(installed by previous owner)
VDO boost gauge with center mounted steering wheel column pod
K03 sport turbo with fitting kit to replace the old one.
Was thinking K04, then thought injectors, then thought this , then that when does it end!!!!!!

last order took 4 days, really excited. Once all is fitted a tune will be done.

                        • Yep. No marks on the gaurds at all. I'll have another poke around when I for the new brake setup. Only does it when I back up and turn slowly. Doesn't do it on the road at all.. Haha

                            • You'll love the swaybars , I have F & R whiteline. Totally transforms the car.
As for tyres, last month Bridgestone had a sale (4 for the price of 3). I bought Potenzas RE002, they are amazing.

Thanks for the info. (4 for the price of 3 would be great) - reviews are all pretty positive for the RE002s so will check out prices next week.

Washed, clayed and polished late this afternoon - dark when I finished so no pics.
