well that's good that it's apparantly a red light that comes out of the R32 and no a white light like on the other models, but it's still approximately twice the light = twice the inensity. i've only ever been bothered by the brake lights of one car which i was behind at the lights once. it's was either a new car with just really powerful brake lights, or someone who had done a simillar thing to you. it really did blind me and i had to stop way back so that it wasn't so intense.
i forgot to count the top brake light, so its good that it's symmetric, if it doesn't bother drivers, then i'd say it looks good.
i agree about the importance of being seen on the road, but there's a line. for example if a cars lights stick out too much, even if they may not be particualrly bright, they can still be very distracting. i'm very against some lights on the very high end cars where the colour of the light changes depending on the angle the car is approaching you at, with green, blue, purle, white, orange tinges flickering all over the shop. i hate that. but cars who drive with their driving lights on in clear conditions in traffic (i.e. lights that arn't pointed down), they get to enjoy a good spray of my high beams
