I've loved the Bridgestone Adrenalins on my GTI. They are very grippy, even did a hillclimb on them, and handle very well in the wet too.
I don't really notice any noise from them, and as far as wearing goes, they probably won't last as long as my previous tyres but i guess you get that with softer compounds...They have a tyre wear rating of 220. The tyres currently on my e30 (Kumho Ecsta Supras) have a wear rating of 345 and ironically i wish they'd wear out much quicker, because they are useless...Good for drifting on roundabouts but that's about it.
They seem to be good value for money compared to other performance tyres too, especially in smaller sizes. I paid $220 per tyre for 215/45/r17's.
