      mk3pete, thhanks for the info, they do look the part. Let us know how they fit and ride. s for rubbing, cant you play around with the height.

        I know they arent coilovers, but am limited by budget. Arent lowered springs with shocks any good. I was going for a 35mm drop.

                      hey guys the new ones didnt come with rubbers on the top like the originals do wondering if i need to take the oem ones off and put them on my new ones also will i need a spring compressor for the front ones i know i dont need them for the rears

                        Go and get some new ones - your old ones probably need replacing. They are not that expensive...

                          thats the thing i just recently replaced my old front struts with oem ones about 4 month ago so they are in good nic but i do definatly need them dont i, they go on the very top of the strut

                            Yep you're fine with just transferring them, though I'd expect the OEM ones to wear out quicker (relative to having them installed on stock struts).
