Just don't forget to get a wheel alignment now. From the pictures it looks like your running way too much negative camber in the front!
Other than that looks fresh
Cheers mate, yeah by the end of the day i really couldn't be bothered to adjust camber angles or anything so i just bolted everything up... how much does a wheel alignment cost roughly?

Around $50 for a front alignment. The rears usually dont need anything done because they're fixed

Yeah roughly what Max said to get it done. Mine cost $140ish but that was for camber, tracking and height adjustment.
Just try and find a good place to get it done and you'll be sweet and the car will feel a lot better too!
Cheers mate, yeah going to lift the car up about an inch at the front, get a wheel alignment and then get my road worthy done again as it expired in august
Alright, not much of an update but oh well I get my license back after 3 months suspension on the 9th of October!!! YESSS
Before that, my car will need to have a wheel alignment and pass road worthy, or ill be riding in the commie. Which won't be too bad, love me manual VR! Hahaha
On the 9th, ill be planning to get a proper photo shoot of the Golf, as long as its in running order!
Hahah i believe you do! I thought i recognised your car, how weird is that shiz
hehe >.< yeah man, the photoset of yours that you posted the other day looked SO familiar and I was all "hmmm I swear I've seen that same golf before."

YES! So finally i have my license back after a grueling three months!!
But theres always bad news... The golf isn't running well and the fact one coilover is held in part, with a spare bolt i had lying around has led to my decision to not drive it. Instead im driving my families 96' Holden Commodore...Typical p-plater bogan i know, but at least its manual!
In regards to it not running well, i mean not starting first time like it used to, had to try 6 times today to get it to start And once its started it chokes when i let off the throttle. Hmmm maybe it just needs a good service, any suggestions?
Also, ive posted on MK3 Random Thread, that i need a replacement bolt for the bolt i cut off. So if any of you kind fellows have this part or know where i could find one it would be greatly appreciated <3
Went out and bought a new bolt on wednesday, fits perfect and now its safe to drive again!
Been thrashing it around some of the local nasho parks and it feels great! Pulls a bit to the left, so i definitely need an alignment...
Again some bad news though, going through a Westfield carpark i scraped real bad... Theres a ramp that leads up to the top of the car park with a pretty severe bump at the top. I nearly got beached and now the exhaust sounds like its off its ount or something... Just a really bad rattling noise. Hmmm guess ill need to get an aftermarket exhaust
Bought new rims tonight... BBS CH Reps for $450, im cheering, probably too big but i couldn't resist the price. Anyone have experience with 17's? ALOT of fender rolling is needed i think
Yeah 17's aren't too bad I ran them for a while, they look quite good but handling suffers a bit IMO. It looks like they're about 7 or 7.5" wide with a medium offset so you probably won't scrub. Good buy
