        Huzzah!
Yep, final year of Industrial Design at uni, so heaps of modelling in Solidworks and rendering in 3DS Max.

So the current plan is to send these ECS spacers back and get some custom ones CNC'd that are 57.1 to 64mm.

Haha love the unnecessary detail for putting in the bolt holes etc.

I'm studying graphic design and it reminds me of a 3d modeling program we use called cinema 4d. Pretty much just for making 3d characters and stuff

Was about to start adding thread to the rotor before I woke up to myself...

Oh nice, graphic is my co-major, *internet high-five*. Only had a brief play with Cinema 4D, but it's similar to 3DS Max. Solidworks is more for technical engineer drawings and only very basically covers the cool rendering and animation stuff in 4D and 3DS.

EDIT: ECS updated their site so now all of their mk3 hub/wheel centric spacers are flagged as "Can not be used on rear wheels due to rear rotor design", yay.

            • VR cloth seats are actually like a million times more comfortable than stock CL.

Yes they are. Cl seats are awful. I never understood why people complain aboit vr6 seats, I always thought they were nice

My only problem with them is they don't fold. Looking into a cheap set of recaros. So I weld rails onto new seats.

I had the same problem. Was somewhat entertaining making people struggle into the rear seats on the odd occasion I had more than one passenger. Pain in the ass if you wanted to really load up the car though.

Oath, was driving to a party on friday. Getting people in the car was so hilarious. Had to make one get through the boot because he couldn't fit in the space.

Pfft these young guns and their impractical two door golfs! Had five lads, their clothes for a week and a ****load of groceries for a trip to Straddie a few weeks back. The wonders of a roof rack basket and a half decent golf boot... VR6 took it bloody well too but it legit looked like it was on coilys. We were so low haha. And they were surprised everything fit!
