    I dont know what your complete list is but you need to consider a heap of other small things that add up :
    radiator , ignition switch , heater core , driveshafts , hubs , wheel bearings , engine mounts , sway bars , brakes , engine bracing , steering rack , fuel pump (possibly fuel lines if you want to run E-85) , rims , tyres etc .
    You'll find most of your budget will spent on the engine/gearbox though but dont dismiss all the little things cause they do add up fast !

          yep i hear you;

          all the parts are purchased and i have a few thousand left for little bits and bobs and some tuning......

          i mean even engine mounts are big money!! not sure on driveshafts yet but we will see........ some of the other things are maintenance items that i will do along the way, i made sure the base car was a honey with FSH and a late model so i wont have to do some of the general items straight away..... if it was a pure race car that would be totally different but happy i can achieve it with a small amount of tolerance int he budget

                Im going to do a 3" cat back for my VR to open its lungs up some. Two mufflers is exactly what I was going to go with, because its going to be loud

                            So just a headspacer instead of pistons ?
                            Expect the headgaskets to leak !
