Yeah pretty confident that's what the extra bulbs are for and because I don't have the wiring for it it I just taped up the wire and put it in behind the lights.

Bought some new wheels for nearly nothing off eBay last night!
The seller said there's marks on every wheel I haven't seen them yet but from the photos they look pretty good. So fingers crossed.
Picking them up this weekend. Don't see them much on mk3 maybe people think they're ugly? Oh well

I'll make you wait for picture but before any one gets their hopes up they are 16"x6.5 et42 so they won't be hellaflush or perfect stance by any means just some new oem styling.

Same spec to what I'm running currently so they should fit although my caliper clearance is nearly nothing so hopefully the spokes don't hit. Damn you and your knowledge of wheels I wanted it to be a surprise but yes they're mk4. Stock 4motion bora wheels I think.

I have the same for my bora, they clear the 312mm brakes so should be good on the VR.
i think they look great on the mk3 without the 205/55 tyres.

All good mate. I'm not very good at keeping secrets anyway haha. Yeah I'll probably run either 205/45 or 215/45 but that won't be till the tyres on my white wheels are bald. They aren't my favourite wheels but I think they'll suit my car and they turned up for a very nice price so I couldn't say no.

I don't really know much about tyres though so if anyone has suggestions about sizes, brands and places to purchase would be a great help.

being the wheels arent going to be flush or some insane fitment, id just stick with trying to get some decent width while keeping to your correct rolling diameter or just a touch under. the sizes you listed sound pretty right compared to what a lot of the other guys are running.
id assume the callipers are bigger on the mk4 then the mk3
