Well all the measurements are identical to my current wheels which are running 215/45 and speedo is spot on so probably just stick to that. Pretty sure vr6 callipers are 288mm so if yours are 312 mine are smaller and like I if all measurements are the same as now so they should fit no dramas. Thanks for all the help man, I appreciate it!

Airbag light is on!
fault code read 0058 driver airbag resistance too high or something like that. I've heard this can just be a bad connection so will take a look tomorrow, hopefully an easy fix and not a clock spring replacement or worse.
Some pics of what I've been doing for anyone interested:
better pic of back since wiper and spoiler delete

joey modded my mk4 look a likes and have some yellow tint film coming that I bought on eBay to tint the fogs

mk2 gear knob and amp controls in my dash (one for sub, one for 6x9s) ran iPod cable into glovebox

airbag light cause = broken clock spring new one on it's way off eBay. It's a 2000 model Polo one but from what I've researched it's the same and should fit if anyone can confirm this though I'd appreciate it.
Grabbed some new beetle wheels

My secret stash under the house, I have a thing for oem wheels

Haha cheers mate. Yeah I decided the 17's were too big and flashy for my liking and the 15's remind me of a cheap one piece rs or something.Originally posted by HaydEn View PostI read!
Those 15's were the right choice.
How much did the grill set you back? Just an eBay one?
The grill was about $60 I think on eBay but it got lost at customs so the seller resent one for me. Fingers crossed that the lost one comes and I will have a spare to sell
Here's a link to the eBay listing of the grill. Definitely recommend this seller. Haven't tried to fit the grill yet though

No worries. If it shows up I'll probably put it up on here, I'll try pm you first though if I rememberOriginally posted by HaydEn View PostIf it ends up showing up i may be interested.
I agree the 17's on mine looked to out of place.
Yeah I agree. I dont think 17's are for me. I'd like some nice wide 15's or 16's but the money isn't there for it now so I'll just go with these and maybe space them out. I have three sets of oem 16's if I ever change my mind. I think I'll try get these 15's fitted then wind down the coils a little. That leads me to my next question. What tyres for 15x6.5 ?Originally posted by Zalemate View Post17's can be done right but you have to be low! 15's can be done right too but imo they need to be wide and 16's well 16's are just perfect i run 16's now but i only have 45mm clearance road to sump.
