Lol Nar, as much as I like all the mk4. I need to keep them as different cars, I already imagine the bora pops on down shift from the little bit of driving I've done in the vr.
Im even restraining from mk4 seats to keep them different

Coils are first thing on the cards after roady, too many cool wheels already in my possession that need a bit of a drop to be run

Found out the Vento has all Windows down/up by using the key, sweeet. Didn't know mk3s had that.
Really need to start throwing the dash and wiring back in ready for roady, this police blitz makes me cringe more then usual driving the bora

whoops! ^^
So started gathering all the bits I need to put the interior back together. Oh my, so many parts. (basically booth and rear seats of the vento are full with parts I think I may need)
Worried if I put the dash shell in ill then find out I haven't plugged a few other things in.
What are people doing around the air vent joints when the foam has gone?
Just leave it with a small gap here and there? or is there a quick fix?
Fitted my black sunvisors, got sick of looking at the filthy cream ones. look a bit odd for now until I get the black headlining in
retro fitted a mk4 woodgrain knob I had left over from my bora to a mk3 boot and base. will do the job for now.
Been hunting for a new headunit, want something OEM ideally. but might have to settle for just a OEM look as id like bluetooth or Ipod capabilities

I have an OEM stereo packaged up, except it's the cassette type!
I've since upgraded my unit to a newer Sony one. I found that Sony's industrial black design blends in with everything else in the car and it looks like it came with the car. I was never a fan of the chrome-y type stereos because they felt cheap and out of place to me.
Siri while driving is super handy as I can't actually look at my phone to read messages so it reads them out to me, I can reply using my voice too. The DIN standard is awesome because we can upgrade our cars easily, shame it seems the industry is moving away from them.
I got this model: MEXN5050BT
Hmm, my foam seems to have come out of all my vents...everywhere.Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6

ill have to check it out! cheers.
I found a OEM Minidisc unit, being a MD user and fan back in the day I thought it would be appropriate (still have all my discs and player somewhere), but will see.
Yeah know a bit comes out, but mines basically all gone being we had the dash out. ill see how close it lines up when I bolt the dash down
