Yea At the end of the day it wont matter what colour I paint it , someone else will eventually copy it.
I was even just thinking of laying a clear coat over the matte...

LOL yep ..Although I dont think it even rubs 16s and big tyres not helping..will be getting the lowest profile I can possibly buy on the next wheels.

                      • Do it.

DIY: Laying Frame in a MK3 VR

If I could weld Id do mine :/ I've have gotten ridiculous quotes from places around here to have it done and don't know anyone who can weld unfortunately :/ Am actually seriously considering getting a cheap welder, learning how to use it, then having a crack. Might be a little tricky to get in there to do the side near the engine, but it shouldnt matter if you dont get it 100% welded up and just get the majority of it done

There very basic DIY write ups with **** all photos but you get the drift I guess

Its odd on the second link the dude says you dont have to notch the drivers side ??? but others have and the tie rods also !

Well vdubins going up on stands again braded line I thinks 100% on the cards now and will suss out this notch for the third time ha.

                          • It was written in the us so their drivers side = our passenger side, which wont need a notch. I think im going to need some small notches for my tie rods too after the chassis one.

                              • my tie rods have marks from rubbing on them too :S

it would be easier, and I think better, to get tie rod flip kit and ball joint extenders.
