Bro, you need to go back to engwish school but no it's not bad, all chips raise the rev limit to 7.5k, it's more the point of your engine not using those revs to it's maximum capabilities. Your just reving the tits outa your ride for not much point, the head and cams just wouldn't flow that well or enough to feed to cylinders if it's stock. I had a mate with a carby Lancer CC coupe that didn't have a rev limiter, we used to take it of the tachometer, but that doesn't mean it's making power up there.

You doing some crazy stuff there, good to see. Sounds like it would've almost have been cheaper to whack an R32 setup in it.
Is Darius helping you out much? I don't really see him much in his little Honda Matchbox car that he's driving around in at the moment.
    Cheers,
    Trent
I didn't want to change the enigne because i'm not a fan of engine swaps. If I see a fast car and ask them whats the go and they tell me it's an engine from another car, I'm like, well it should be fast then and move on. I'd much rather see an OE engine worked, that way it's the same car from factory. I don't give any credit to people squeezing sr20 engines into datto utes, it's just a cop out to build a decent car.

Yeh, Darius is pulling my box apart at the moment to see how it all looks and man that Honda is funny as hell! haha, it doesn't even have a radio!

Hopefully! haha, I can't seem to find any vr's with these so I can't comment on how they'll be, however my engine builder likes the specs of them and thinks they'll work I may have just killed the bottom end but nutted the top end! On the track you shouldn't see anything below 4500 anyways

Any colourcoding/body work to go along with this pocket ripping engine extravagansa? (not that it needs it....ofcourse)
HAHA Joe! that pic's ridiculous! lmao, and to your question, if I do colour change it'll be a SPRAY BOMB!! WOOH! or I may just sling my mate a coupla hungie to paint it properly lol . . . . money money money, the engine alone is too much at the moment so I have no immediate plans for anything else

                          • Mike, i've wanted to spray up that bonnet for a loooooooooooong time man, just never got round to it will do though, i reeeeaaaaaaally need to lose the JDM theme yo

Alex! lol, yeh the specs are:

                            Duration : [.1mm+cl] 290deg and [1mm+cl] 249deg
Peak angle : 112deg intake and 108deg exhaust
Valve lift : 12mm intake and exhaust
Lift at tdc : 2.6mm intake and 3.15mm exhaust

It is the most extreme we could go without changing to a mechanical vlave train . . .

                            • All this work looks expensive, but I'm sure it'll go like crazy afterwards.

What else is being done as well as engine, intake/exhaust/suspension as well? Or is that stuff ok at the moment?
