im hoping Christmas , but I still need to build the 20V, also get the car complied and engineered ,other than that I have all the parts in a container ready to go

Wheels off for the engineer to view the break and suspension upgrade.

Cut reliefs in guard where I added reinforcing for front chassis leg , test fitted , pretty happy

It's the diagonal piece , I saw it years ago , it just traingulates between the door pillar and the rail to help flex (apparently ) wasn't a big job so I thought while I'm in there il do it ! The proof will be in the drive I guess .

That makes a lot of sense. It braces the top of the shock tower back to the solid framework that is the main cabin.

Yeh it's got a plate at both ends to spread the load then it's stitched to the inner guard to stop any movement , it's not much but everything counts and as I can't run a full cage in NSW I am pinching a bit of strengthening anywhere I can , like my half cage is also tied to roof rail just to reduce twist - again that a the idea anyway ! The behind dash cross member is stitch welded now instead of just spot welds , rear strut towers stitched , it's just a few little things ! Hopefully it will pay off

Added led to cluster and marked with a (P) for handbrake as I got rid of light when I made carbon fibre dash panel for additional instruments

There's something wrong with your odometer, it's only showing a third of the mileage (kilometerage?) of what most MK2's show.

The secret is that's miles , but with a KLm face !

So when you get pulled over for doing 160 you can say the speedo says you were doing 100?

Ha ha nah the speedo is almost identical for speed just the odometer that's wrong .
