We have a small VW show in the weekend so I have been busy trying to tidy up the car for it.
Still need to make up a relay bypass to get some more power to the headlights as well as re-seal then, fit my new Blaupunkt Casablanca radio (This was the radio all the high spec'd 91 Volkswagens came with in New Zealand), get my 15mm spacers on as well as trim the plastic archs a bit. Oh and it is going in for a full cut and polish the day before the show! Hopefully it will come up good.
I've put the black G60 caps on but I am unsure if I like them or not.
I think I prefer the MK3 centre caps??
I have also ordered remote keyless entry kit which come with new switchblade key fob and uses MK2 blank keys. The keyless entry system which is going to come in handy! Hopefully it turns up in time for the weekend!!

Busy weekend!
Got the car cut and polished and it came up really nice, I do notice a few more small dings in it now though!
Also got my key cut for the late model Key fob, How crap are the VW badges it came with!! I also put the 15mm spacers on and trimmed the plastic archs a bit.
I had an awesome time at the show in the weekend. Picked up peoples choice in the MK2 category which I am stoked and pretty surprised about! There are some photos floating around if you search Stance Off 2012, I will try and post some more up soon!
