  • Japanese Mk2 Paradise

Some of you may know I Moved to Japan (still have my GTI having a rest back in Aus).
Since being here I've made many friends, and one of them happens to own This MK2 Specialist workshop in Tokyo. Got a chance to see more of his collection today ( before I had only seen a small part) there is another lot with around 80 more cars that I have not seen.
Today I went to see some of the cars he has for sale , as i'm looking for another mk2 GTI for driving duties over here.
I took a few pics, and thought some of you might be interested ..
    Enjoy!

Yeah! he has millions of 4 doors, He likes to hold onto the 2 doors.
Most of the 2 doors are LHD, some GTI some GLI, but he has about 10 RHD 2 door GTIs. (all valvers)
Problem being, most of them arn't for sale

My thoughts exactly! I spied a set of RS's I wouldn't mind paying a pretty penny for.

Main part of the business is servicing and repairing. They have been too busy with repairs recently to get many restored.
Some get repaired / restored and sold off, others are parts cars and some are the business personal collection.
They have quite a few track cars too. Mostly they head off to tsukuba circuit once every couple of weeks for a bash.
I got invited to go along next time. Pics when It happens!! Going to have a look at the other 70-80 odd cars I didn't see today, maybe in a few weeks.
