purchased a vw motorsport strut brace over the weekend which i put on this morning, was a tight fit but got it on eventually.
also took a photo of the new diesel mount with poly insert, has made a big difference with engine movement but of course it is now noiser and there is a bit more vibration
really just waiting on my seats now, i sent them off to be fabricated so hopefully within the next week i'll have them back, other than that i should start looking into rego now and getting my cams license etc, because it is not far off all(i've said this so many times already i know!! ahah)

also noticed there is a slight fuel leak from around the fuel pump, from the outlet which faces/points towards the drivers side...got new hose and clamps, don't understand why it leaks from this point only? i have tried trimming the hose and reclamping but still no difference...is this outlet of smaller diameter?78 2-door 1.8 KR 16v - twin dellorto's

so I didn't have the time or skills to make my own seat rails how I wanted...so I sent them off to be fabricated but it doesn't look like they are in a rush either...so at the moment the car is just sitting, waiting for some seats...which is real frustrating but we will get there I promise!
so in the mean time I have been buying random stuff and making up small trims etc I have been putting off
was pretty happy with the way these came up today...
decided on getting some VDO guages as well...a oil pressure and battery voltage for the centre console but I will try my best to delay this until the more important things have been paid for.78 2-door 1.8 KR 16v - twin dellorto's

Nice work, Dude.
Notice how the VWMS strut brace doesn't have bends in it?

also wondering what the go was for driving the car unregistered? I know you can drive to a workshop if the work getting done is for registration purposes...does this include the exhaust shop for the hangers & wheel alignment? and can I insure the car unregistered? or doesn't it matter if something was to happen anyway? hmmmmmmm78 2-door 1.8 KR 16v - twin dellorto's

not sure about insurance,
But you can get a Permit to drive it to any workshop to get work done to it. but you have to take the shortest route there.
Most of the unregistered cars i have bought for parts and what not, i have got a permit and drove them homecheaper and more fun then a trailer haha
