    • hah well my lane is fairly short and the brakes aren't bead in, so i had to resist the temptation and just go for a small drive without doing anything stupid...but i get the feeling it will get along

                • with my car away at upholstery i was getting bored and decided to embark on a budget repair of the back seats. so basically i took the skin off and will try and find a local tailor or (sweatshop) to make up a new skin, even the fabric section. I can't justify the 300-500 quotes i've received from auto upholsters, as looking at them, if i new how to sow and had a needle that could pierce leather it is not very difficult...initially there were talks of registering as a two seater but being on my p's and using it as a daily don't think this would be very practicle, although it would look sweet

                  • For some reason 4 doors look tuff as nuts with back seats removed .... begging for a cage haha

                    • picked up these today, drivers side is absolutely mint, but passengers Recaro logo has faded and there is a small tear in the bolster...so the aim is to get a dude to re-iron the logo back on and stich the tear in the bolster or perhaps repair it down the track, doesn't really bother me as it is the passanger side inner bolster which wont really be noticeable...anyway love this style of seat, glad i finally chased down a decent pair for a bargain price...should go nicely in the car

on a side note, took the car for a better test run this arvo when i got it home, did a few runs up and down the lane lol pulls like crazy and wants to keep going..unfortunately my lane is not really long enough to see how it runs up top when the cam comes on....but i really can't to find out ahah

                            • **** the lane-way dude. Part of MK1 ownership is illegal spins before the car's registered! I belted mine around the neighbourhood most days "keeping the bearings from seizing..."
