  • I like suprises and the internet kills them.

So Alex I think you should be a responsible dubber and from now on not post any pics. This will make the final show much more enjoyable for us. And to those who say "No" well come along to the events so you can see it in the flesh.

I agree, as long as the event is held in Braidwood (half way between Canberra and the coast).

        Cheers

        • Waterboy calls the shots around here so I guess we won't see this again until it's done, eh?

It's up to the owner to decide what's what. I don't plan on hiding my car until it's finished.. That's just an ego thing i reckon.

Keep up the good work, Al.. Whether we get to see it or not.

I would but some of us don't have the luxury of travelling from brisbane to Melbourne to check it out! The whole point of the forums is to share and assist where possible with like minded people.. I'm all for suprises but Come on...... I want more!!! And I want it NOW... • My last MK1 build played out like a soap opera, so the one I am doing this time is going in a more personal direction with the input from some valued co-contributors. Alex shared a lot on his A3 build, so he deserves to keep this close to his chest.

I agree with you Mikinoz if he wants to keep this to himself a bit thats his choice, I'm not trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. But I enjoy seeing developments of this project.... Exciting to see what is being done from week to week.. It has given me Many Idea's about my build and I can see that there is ALOT of stuff that I know nothing about and its exceptionally educational. I'm a sponge (not the ex wife kind) and need to learn.

Thats why I was a little upset to see that Waterboy is trying to get him to save it all till the project is finished.... Everyone is welcome to their opinion and I know there are moderators that can remove my posts if requested... Keep the serial posting alive lol....

                  • Screw that I build cars to inspire and excite , yer show releases are cool but I like to steam the vw juggernaut more than one day a year.
So enjoy and if you are looking for the Devine experience of first hand vision tune out now.
And besides everyone knows cars are better in real life so you won't be disappointed.

Has picked up a fair amount of dust here and there , but am super happy with the finish , and besides it's nothing that won't polish out.

And what the color looks like under white light
