Hi Kamold, followed Steve's source and software updated successfully but after final reboot the unit is still looping and rebooting, am I missing something, please advise? Can email images across which I have taken. Thanks in advance.Comment

First of all thanks for all the info and work on this topic! I too want to update my RNS 510 and want to make sure i have the right version. After reading all the posts In this topic i was pretty sure that i needed fw4120, untill you recommended fw5238 in the last few post to some users. Which one should i use? Fw4120 or 5238 and why?

That means it can't read the CD.
Burn it again using cdburnerxp or imgburn at slowest possible speed.

I upgrade 2 years ago my RNS 510 type B to 4120 firmware. Unit become a D version....
Could you please confirmed :
- 5238 firmware is the best way and last firmware for a 2010 Golf 6R.
- Normally this upgrade keep codage
