Just went to Volkswagen today since the V8 maps were released last week. Last year $65 for the Disk this year $867 for V8 how do the hell does VW get off doing this what a rip off. Considering no speed warning street announcement and so on.... not happy ... thats over a 1000 % increase in price....

Go back there and ask for the part number and i'll get it for the correct $55

So Far Mr Gumtree will not answer or return my call.... looks like was not a true instance. Also I confirmed price with another dealer $861 dollars for new maps.... may be if you want the maps have to pool resources.

Alex replied to my Gumtree message saying he would post free and giving his bank details. No reflection on him, but I just worry about id theft or a scam these days. Not sure whether I'll proceed.

They must have figured finally that they'll only sell about 10 copies, before it spreads like an STD and for free.
