I have just DL and burnt 3 custom logos. I installed two of them and the last one was a security screen created by JohnC. Many thanks to JohnC for his super effort.
I burnt the CDs using the advice offered here - xpcdburner. My DVD burner won't go to X1 the lowest is X8 but this still worked fine. I used TDK-R CDs. I used the instruction wrt rebooting etc and bingo, straight through. Been a lot of fun doing this especially when I am a real novice at this sort of thing.

Did this last night and it worked a treat although the first couple of dvds i burnt using imgburn didn't work. But as soon as i used xpburnercd at track at once and at x1 speed worked first time.
Anyone know if the FAST mascot (black rabbit) comes in white, other than that pretty happy.
Does anyone know how to extract just the image from the iso file? I'd like to use a few of these for my Pioneer head unit but I haven't had any luck so far.
Yeah that's what I found, just seeing if anyone else might know something I didn't... ah well. I've sent johnc a PM as well, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see
Thanks for the link, but unfortunately that just tells me what I already know: It's in a strange format which is way beyond me to try to decode, lol. And sadly, I'm not great with Photoshop and trying to google an image in any sort of decent resolution hasn't really gotten me anywhere either (I need at least 800x480).
This thread has thus far been the only place I've been able to find OEM looking splash screens.
