  • Maybe try and get in touch with the netdata guys and ask if they can make their work available elsewhere?

    • Hi mate...been searching hi and low for some help re:splash screens as I've somehow lost mine following a map update (Skoda Columbus HU, Revision E with V12 Western Europe Maps)...

This post looked ideal only I can't download the ISO files (nor see the previews !)..have they been removed ? Does anyone still have them ?

Hope to hear from you ...

      Cheers, Ric.

p.s. particularly keen to restor the original Skoda Navigation splash screen but would like the ability to play too......the netdata.be site is down else I'd consider having a go myself..

      • Same from me. Does nobody have the ISO files or the original S/W from the netdata.be site ?

        • Dnsbelgium does not have any records for the domain registrant. I'll try and track them down through some other forums.

          • We can look at putting the files up on RNS Firmware or on vwwatercooled, even the page that creates the iso is possible (if the code is available).

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

            • The only email addy for the developer of the splash screen ISO builder I found was github@netdata.be via his github page https://github.com/netdata but the whole domain seems to have been scrubbed and emails are bouncing.

              • There is this over here:
                View Profile: netdata - VWVortex.com

but that account hasn't been touched in years. I've tried messaging through both email and PM so we will see what comes back. I've also messaged Vortex admin to see if there is any contact details not on the netdata.be domain that they might like to share.

                • Actually... there is this:

All I need now is someone with a premium account that can send inmail messages to people they don't know
                  Anyone have a premium account?

Maybe someone might grab the code from the site and host it elsewhere? I have not looked for the images yet

                          • Good find. Maybe they'd be happy for Vww to keep hold of it for them to keep it alive.
