RNS-510 Custom Boot Screens

Does anyone have a copy of the "new" original boot screen with the Dynaudio logo? 22 is the screen without the Dynaudio logo which has also changed and now looks like this http://www.remkoweijnen.nl/blog/wp-c...Logo_thumb.png

Would love a copy of this as a fallback position after modifying.

For the life of me i cant get this to work. iv tried burning the logo using different iso burn programs. all i get is the red lines at the top and bottom saying cant reboot, swl disc required when i reboot it turns on again straight away. when i force a dowgrade it shows the red lines then i put the disk in but it just says cant read disk and thats it if i press ok nothing i waited ages but nothing.
the unit is a H FW 4020 H64

I got the same thing with a H61 4020 unit. Must not be compatible.

With 4xxx series firmware, the units are REALLY sensitive to media.

Use CDBurnerXP at slowest available speed and use 'track-at-once' recording. Use a different burner, use different media.

My unit used to accept any old disk but now is very picky.

i was using CDBurnerxp at slowest, track at once. ill have use a different brand of DVD. what are you useing Kamold?

I have a LiteOn drive I think, can't remember the model but can update you when I get home.
Was using TDK CDR Gold media.

At previous firmware revs I was able to write the image on a wet coaster from the pub and it would work...now the RNS510 turns it nose up at almost anything...

FWIW, this is why reverting back to FW 3970 or not upgrading to FW 4020 is a more sensible option IMO.

Personally, I had no GPS reception with my C unit under FW 4020.

The unit i got is a H built july 2012 so is as new as you can get ATM. works a treat but just donst like the DVD-RW i have.
Ill try the TDK that kamold is using. do you leave the disc open ended kamold or finalise it.

Big shout out to Kamold. my man, you have made this process a joyful one. firmware update, maps update, custom boot screen, all in under 2 hours.... It was only my impatience stopping me from reading the rest of the thread to see I had to download CDBurnerXP to finalise the boot screen. fussy thing it is.

I can now go to bed!

Can you send me 03A in jpg format or iso for Skoda Columbus ?
I'm installing Columbus in Golf MKVI. Have already changed menu to VW-style but logo is still skoda.
Navi is A unit and have SW 4020 for A.
