Help needed,

Can anyone provide a working link for a downloadable image to create a recovery disc for a RNS510 rev B unit.

Any help greatly appreciated ☺️

If the unit is till responsive you should be able to use the standard firmware, otherwise the recovery disc should see you right.

The links are all on page 1 and should be good. (The files are all hosted on VWWatercooled too )

Links arent working Kamold I tried twice today and get Website being updated etc and the GPS underground is kaput as well. THe link I posted works and I d/loaded the iso this morning

Anyone have suggestions on who I can send out this unit to for inspection / repair and update? I'm in the virus capital, Melbourne...
I have a genuine Volkswagen map update disc also Version 8.

Refer to Unofficial 272x software and SWL recovery CD for 'recovery' firmware if the load fails and your unit becomes unresponsive.

OK you tech heads out there, Ive attached two screen shots of the end result of the two burnt CD's I created to fix the 'boot-looping' RNS510 radio unit, which neither of these CD's are working.

If anyone can see a reason for not booting up, please let me know... thank you.

Hi Steve, YES success, thank you.

Now, the next issue is my map version 8 disc does nothing when inserted in the drive. For testing purposes, the unit will play a DVD movie disc without any issues.
Any tips on loading maps after using a recovery disc?
