Im just little concern if the wheel spin is normal when you floor it every time especially when ESP is turn on that is all.__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _____

Perhaps a lighter right foot will fix the problem.Originally posted by EWT View PostIm just little concern if the wheel spin is normal when you floor it every time especially when ESP is turn on that is all.06 Jetta 2.0TFSI Killed by a Lexus!

With a normal MKV GTI, if you floor it, the wheels will spin and the ESP light will flash. The MK6 now has XDL and a better chassis, but there are plenty of people who have mentioned being able to violently bounce the front of the car due to loss of traction.
So yes, when you then increase the power by another 20% and torque by another 40%, you're going to spin the wheels even more if you put your foot down.
The ESP isn't meant to stop you having some fun, just stop you from getting into trouble. So you just need to learn your car more intimately and figure out how quickly you can feed in the accelerator instead of simply flooring it!

Most dealers do, they are not expensive, it is just a time consuming process. Not all cars have security bolts, its a bit random which cars have them & which don'tOriginally posted by coreying View PostLol! Good point. So in the instances where an APR dealer needs to remove the ECU to flash it on the bench with that new equipment you and your dealers have, do they have replacement security bolts? Or do you have a method of removing the ECU without it being detectable to the dealers?

Makes a good difference, highly recommended.Originally posted by ddre78 View PostI had the APR Stage 1 tune done on Wed. So far, very happy with it. Now to get a little bit more noise out of the exhaust.....
A turbo back exhuast would take you to Stage 2.. I'm keen to get the hfull RSC exhaust next, could use a bit more sports/exhaust sound at the moment can hardly hear it as it's mostly engine sound (but the DSG farts sound good too).Last edited by G-rig; 04-07-2010, 10:08 PM.

That's correct all gone, but still have most of the stereo gear (good thing with that you can take it from car to car). Manual was good ripping through the gears but don't mind DSG eitherOriginally posted by thezoneR32 View PostHey Greg, Did you end up selling your R32 and parts? So you like the dsg now? Im sure you were a manual guy before!

Im not really after any more performance, just a bit of a nice note. Have been reading that people are getting good results from simply deleting the rear muffler but keeping the resonator. Nice note, no drone and cheap. Will probably head down this path myself.Originally posted by G-rig View PostA turbo back exhuast would take you to Stage 2.. Very good option, a lot of people will try to steer you away from it saying that it will 'drone' but if the resonator is untouched you should have no troubles of this at all. removing the rear 'suitcase' muffler might be a bit more expensive on the MKVI than the MKV due to the twin exhaust tips on each side but once it's done it should sound quite nice. I would suggest when getting it done you should replace the tips to 3" tips so they fill the rear and looks tougher.Originally posted by ddre78 View PostIm not really after any more performance, just a bit of a nice note.
