Thanks Jarred, Yes it was an enormously successful day, there's lots of very complex systems involved and a lot of it can only be properly tested on the track.

The car was competitive from the second run and even with me taking it very easy I was 2 seconds faster per lap than the white car.

There was nothing fundamentally wrong, which was a relief.

It will take me a while to learn how to drive it. I'm not used to the feel of the car and it will take a while to explore the limits of the car and driver.

That sort of was the first race

I was hoping to get the car ready and test run before the season started but I had to use the first event for the shake down.

This is the series I'm running in Victorian SuperSprint Championship but I'll pick up a few club level sprints throughout the year too.

Just got my dry weather tyres fitted up. I had been waiting on the wheels, they only landed from the US last Friday.

It would have been nice to have had these for Phillip Island.

Tyres are Hoosier R6 225/45/15 Hoosier Racing Tire - Tires Designed For Champions

The wheels have heaps of brake clearance which was a major deciding factor.

Weather permitting these will be on for the next race.
