Yep I think I'll lower it some more, trouble is the springs on the coil overs will have to be reset to give me more adjustment.

(I also need to modify my trailer so it tilts and doesn't hang up when I'm loading up.)

I think I mounted the spoiler too high too, but that's just a matter of making new brackets.

There's nothing in the race calendar in March, next outing should be the VSSC event on 14 April at Sandown.

No superhero stuff here I'm busy trying to figure out if everything is working OK.

The dash wasn't, so ignore the gear indicator. Speeds shown are correct, they're coming off the GPS.

Bear in mind that as I head into turn 1 for the first time at 120km/hr the brakes are completely untested. Towards the end of this clip you'll see me test the biasing and come off to adjust it.

nice one pete! looks great for the first run. as you mentioned, still sounds like the engine has a lot to give - i'm sure you can't wait to see how it goes once everything is run in etc!

Session 2 video.

With the brakes working now I'm gaining confidence in them but I find a new issue.

It took me the next 2 sessions to figure it out but the balance bar was fouling the accelerator pedal.

This caused the engine to rev out when I hit the brakes hard, this was somewhat confusing at the time and is what happened in the video when you see me shoot up the turn 4 exit road.

Oops, missed that question sorry Stiggy. These events run all day and you get multiple runs on the track during the day. There's no exact times you just get called when it's your turn.

OK I'm pretty tired so no a lot commentary.

I flew back from the USA yesterday and raced today, the jet lag thing is making it hard to type right now.

Geoff Hale came out to play today in his MK1 "Mule"

The Kamei Golf goes really fast! This is the second outing and I'm starting to get the hang of it but I'm nowhere near the kinds of corner speeds it's capable of and I'm not anywhere near the limits of the brakes either.

Video and data worked properly today so I'll have some videos to share over the next few days as I get time to do the editing.
