Totally agree with how they work, and Yes they will go back in, just when I have the floor off again to put the bottom ones back on.
Im more interested in making something so all the air goes to the RaD from the front. Need to go see a Plastic welder. I also want to make up some ducts for the brakes too.

So after installing all the parts above, Im now working on a Map 6 (full custom).
Which has been perfect timing, as the JB4 has new Firmware. Which the first drive around the block, has fixed the part throttle issues.

Stay "tuned" for Map 6 updates!

Today the post man delivered something that I didn't really need, make it does make the engine bay look more stock and cleaner.

    VW Part number: 5Q0129849
Which is the trim behind the drivers side air intake behind the grill.
I had Duct tape there and worked fine, but a little look and you can tell something is up. Now it looks stock because it is...

Now to turn up the Map6 on the JB4 and run it for a few months.
Once tuned nicely, Ill drop it on the dyno and see what sort of power it can make!
Hopefully its around the 210/220 kw at the wheels!!

So a lots happened in the last few months.
The HPA Puck was part of a bad batch and fell apart with in a few weeks, so got a replacement with was a Mark 6 version. Which means its solid with out the 3 holes at the back. Only been in a week or so, but hopefully it lasts longer than the 1st one...

    So....
    Installed a HPA mount.
Had the CTS turbo Dog bone insert, which had snapped the front off!
Zero wheel hop, now it just spins the wheels lol
    A lot stiffer front end.
The car vibrates a lot more at idle (750rpm) but I bumped up the idle to 800 via the OBDeleven and seems ok now

There is a great review on the link below

On #SkodaSaturday with Ferret VRS, Installed the CTS Turbo Short Shifter, bushes and also did the clutch master to slave mod, taking the restrictor out.
Went with 35% reduction in throw, which I may move it to 20% reduction.
Stock was 65ish mm (3rd to 4th), and now it's about 45ish mm. Need a lot more force as it moves the pivot point.
