Only reason for asking is that I saw some sikolene filter oil in supercheap today. Hadn’t really thought about it before then.

So these foam air filters don’t need a spray coating of oil after cleaning? My APR filter says otherwise but I’m new to these type of filters.

I clean the air filter (foam job) at the oil change, well that's the plan doesn't always happen lol

Yea I'll oil it, just any old brand is fine, don't soak it tho, it just drips in the air box

No filter mate, just oil drop.
I do however get the filters from service and check it out.

Skoda Saturday....
Noticed the rear rotor had a rust ring, so had some time to pull the pads out and found that the pad has broken down, I'm guessing I got some solvent on it while washing the wheels or something

Also pulled the foam air filter and installed stock one while I wash the foam one and popped the intake pipe off and cleaned/sprayed some carby clean down the intake.

Just dropped the oil, 7500km done since dealer service. New tool was good and didn't damage the drain plug like I had with a screwdriver.

Booked for happy laps in June so that should be fun. Nothing else planned unless something breaks...

New wind screen day today at RACQ Lawnton.

Guys did a great job. Window in, then took it to Bob Jane for a wheel alignment, then RACQ re calibrated the screen (auto wipers, lights, ACC, lane assist I guess)
