So had a bit on this week.
    - Meet up with Spinifex to enable Video in Motion. Now I have to work out if I need to buy the JB4 wireless kit to display the gauge set...

-TPMS arrived today, so got the sensors fitted at Toombul Bob Jane for a box of Beers, If you need anything to do with tyres, make sure you go there, I've been using them for 5 years!

    - On the Way home this afternoon, I hit 3000km.

    - Once home, mounted the Display and ran the RF wires.
    - 1 wire along the plastic sill cover and up the to rear door
    - the other behind the dash and in to the engine bay by the left front head light.
This should give it a good signal.

Off tomorrow to get a Fuse Tap and run 12V behind to the drop down bin above the drivers knee, so the TPMS has power.
I've got an 4 way ciggy box, so will mount that inside.
I was gutted to find the fuse box is not on the ends of the dash like I had read on Briskoda, but this will still work fine. Just have to run a longer cable.

Starting to plan whats next for the RS230 ..... but the 'minister of finance' has cracked it, so everything is on hold till march/April.

    Planning to order:
    Internal TPMS - TICK
    DashCam
    A huge Superskoda order
    Maybe Track wheels and tyres.
Im keen to get the RS230 rims from superskoda, but will most likely go with some 2nd hand wheels locally

We Posti tap'ed my Mates Golf R, seems fine.

I had ordered plugs from Audi (lambda side) and wire with pins, and also ordered the ECU side from china before I'd really worked out what the go was.
China sent 4pin not 5pin plugs, so have to wait a week (ex UK).

I think a few have done what Im trying to do, but its not cheap.... $115 for a plug and 5 wires/10 pins attached....

So you're not happy with using the supplied PosiTap connection? Has anyone else come up with a workaround or are you the pioneer?

Mine photos will not be that good.... as the car is in the air. in post 39.

How does the VRS 230 exhaust sound thing work? - Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 onward) - BRISKODA
Thanks for posting that link, had a read through it all. Looks like the rear silencers have different part numbers also. It would be a big job to swap is all over to RS230 parts. Might try and have a look under mine to see there there is a slip join with a band clamp as per 99Reza's suggestion either end of the centre muffler. Id like to make is as easy as possible to put back to stock if it doesn't work out.

You might want to use a selfie stick or jack one side up to take a photo, it's very tight down there.

Briskoda has some info about the 230 pipes as well.

From the other forum, RS230 has a smaller diameter cylindrical mid muffler as opposed to the prism like mid muffler on the RS220, length wise is the same I believe.

I don't believe the turbo muffler delete does anything in regards to the muffler note, its more for the noise of the turbo itself. I might be wrong here.

If you want improvement on the exhaust note, changing mid muffler is the easiest and cheapest way, I did and is very happy with the result. Find one that is steel packed and the longest you can fit there (OEM is 24 inch long). Newer RS has a band clamp around the mid muffler instead of one solid pipe, which makes things a bit simpler.

Do you have any photo of the underside of your car? I'd love to see the difference in exhaust setup to standard so I can try to emulate in the aftermarket. The APR drop in 'turbo muffler delete' seems to be a lot off effort for little gain in value or exhaust note improvement. I'm looking for a little more noise without being rude. I think the RS230 achieves this but i'm not sure exactly how.
