Just think how many ordinary drivers she would have really P****d off in the course of her driving life and continues to do.
Had a friend way back who drove like that, he had represented the UK at fencing and had incredible reflexes but being a passenger was scary and embarrassing and to be avoided.

Front Assist and cruise control are different systems though both use the radar function. As I understand it Front Assist is City Emergency Braking and is designed to work from 5-30km/hr. ACC works to control speed, distance behind the vehicle in front and brakes automatically at speeds above 30km/hr.
Front Assist is activated or deactivated in the menu while ACC is switched on/off with the Cruise Control switch. Leave Front Assist ON and don't use ACC in the City were the recommendations I received from the sales guy. Front Assist will brake for you at low speeds. I'm not sure whether it works at high speed if the ACC is OFF.MY2014 Skoda Octavia Ambition Plus Wagon, DSG, Capuccino, Tech Pack

So can you have acc on (stalk forward) but not activated, and front assist (assist braking 30-150kph) is active?
Or does the car need to be driving using acc for it to work?2014 Skoda Ambition Plus 103TSI candy white wagon, 6sp Manual, Tech pack, Panoramic Sunroof, 18's, Colour Maxidot, Comfort BT

Anybody with the RS manual noticed notchy Gear shift ? Mine is hard to get into 5th. Thought it might "wear in" but still no easier. Will raise with dealer but just wondered if anyone else noticing this.Mine: Octavia vRS Combi (MY15) | Brilliant Silver | 6MT | 162Kw 350Nm | Tech Pack* | 18" Black Pack | Leather | Sky Port | Ordered Aug 14 | Built Wk 48 2014 | Landed 3/2/2015 | Delivered 20/2/2015

I find 6th sometimes needs a nudge but all the others glide into spot effortlessly. I'd be happier if a bit more force was required to depress the lever for reverse as I have occasionally found reverse from reverse when seeking first as the weight of my arm it seems is enough to depress it sometimes. Either that or I need to get off the "gear"...(groan).

Mine was quite stiff and notchy for the first 1000-1500. It's loosened up nicely now, and is a good shift.2014 Skoda Ambition Plus 103TSI candy white wagon, 6sp Manual, Tech pack, Panoramic Sunroof, 18's, Colour Maxidot, Comfort BT

Thanks for the comments guys. Only at 500k's so I'll be a bit more patient. It definitely wont go into 5th at times. All the others are ok if a little notchy, although it is freeing up.Mine: Octavia vRS Combi (MY15) | Brilliant Silver | 6MT | 162Kw 350Nm | Tech Pack* | 18" Black Pack | Leather | Sky Port | Ordered Aug 14 | Built Wk 48 2014 | Landed 3/2/2015 | Delivered 20/2/2015
