Glad I read this - the unlocking of the car has been driving me nuts today (only got it yesterday) - thought it was faulty
User error lol!

Thanks to stu53, Mysticality and others, for clarifying my error in keyless locking/unlocking of the car!

NOW I know how to do it properly !!! I've clearly been doing it incorrectly but it's clear in my head now and I've got it working as expected.

I bought a OBDeleven dongle to do my own programming.

If you're coming to the Happy Laps at Willowbank raceway tomorrow, I can demonstrate if you like - I won't have a lot of time to help guys out with programming their vehicles though, as I'm flying to Tasmania at 1pm tomorrow, so I'm only going out there for a short time to meet some faces, perve on some nice cars and take a gentle punt around the track for a few laps.

Had a good look at some of the coding options on Briskoda and a few changes I would like
Traffic updates, boot close with button in car and sunroof with rain
Need to find an iphone version - hopefully will work with the audi as well

All of those things you want, I've managed to program using the dongle.
I can confirm the traffic updates & boot-close definitely work... haven't tested the rain-close yet, but I believe I've coded it correctly.
Nothing seems to ahve been "broken" after I coded it,
Shouldn't take too much time to do - I can give it a crack if you like, otherwise, the dongle costs about $60 I think, delivered to your door. Mine took about 5 days to arrive.

There's no iphone version of the program - and they're apparently not planning one any time soon sadly - so I'm forced to borrow my mates android pad any time I want to poke around with the dongle.

I have been looking through google and the only ios enabled one didnt appear to have any long coding options - just some further basic options that arent listed in the onboard system

I believe the Dealer puts them on, thats what I've read from Briskoda.
But they might not of sent 230 stickers to Aus as its a 169 (to match the 162)
???
Guess Ill know in a few weeks...

My local dealer has a black 169tsi manual hatch on the floor. No stickers. I asked about them and was told none come with the car.

I noticed the rear were not heated. didnt pay attention to the front. Does it not come with the comfort pack?
The seats are no different to the AUS spec apart from the vrs badge in the seat is colour and not just stamped in.

RS230 seats are not heated as standard; heating (front/rear) is an option.

Sad to hear no stickers.

Is that the white mk 2 with the roll cage ect. Iv seen it many times. The usually bring it out for V dubs on the square (which now in a park due to size)

Is it possible to turn off the stop / start feature permanently?
Being in and out of the car all day it is annoying having to press the button every time it does it at the first set of lights

It can be done with VCDS many ways. Not sure if it can be done with OBDeleven, would need someone with it to confirm
